Sephora & MAC Haul

I ran out of my cleanser and wanted to try something new. I've never used anything from Shiseido before, so I picked up the Pureness Foaming Cleansing Fluid. Has anyone had good experiences with Shiseido skincare?

I was using Cetaphil moisturizing lotion on my face but wasn't liking how it made me feel oily within an hour. So I also got a small tube of Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion to try out.

When I opened my bag I found a sample of the Fresh Sugar Acai Body Scrub. I didn't ask for any samples, so that was a pleasant surprise.

When I got my 187 a little while back, the handle felt a tiny bit loose. I didn't think it was that big of a deal because it wasn't too noticeable. The more I used the brush, the looser the handle was getting. It got to the point where the ferrule was moving a bit when I wiggled the handle. This brush was almost $50, so I didn't want to take any chances of it completely breaking. It's been less than 30 days since purchase, so I went to the MAC store with the receipt. I didn't have any problems exchanging it. This new one is nice and firm, yay!

  1. I've used shiseido for years now, especially their skincare products. Right now in terms of cleanser, I'm using their "the skincare' line gentle foam cleanser. It gives you a very clean and fresh feeling with no dryness or oily after feeling :) Their products are very trustworthy, especially for sensitive skin. Hope you enjoy your first shiseido cleanser experience :)

mszcheysser: if you haven't tried any mac brushes yet, i totally recommend them. they're pricey but such great quality & can last for years :)
