*UPDATED* Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips

OVERALL RATING: 4/5
WHERE TO BUY: Most drugstores (Walmart, CVS, etc)
WOULD I REPURCHASE?: Yes

MY THOUGHTS: This is my first time using pore strips. I purchased these because everyone and their mom seems to use them. I followed the instructions on the box for application; I wet my nose, placed the strip on, and peeled it off after 15 minutes. It stuck on to my nose really well. Removal was a little bit painful, but tolerable, sort of like taking a band-aid off your skin. Inspection of the strip showed that some blackheads and whiteheads were removed, but not everything.

UPDATE [May 09, 2010]: I don't think I did anything differently but these worked a lot better the second time I used them. They removed a lot of whiteheads so I'm bumping up the rating from a 3 to a 4. I'm also adding new pictures :)

Each pore strip comes in its own individual packet.

Here's what a brand new pore strip looks like.

On my nose.

First pore strip I used. Removed some blackheads.

Second pore strip I used. Removed a lot of whiteheads!

  3. I've tried these! they do hurt like mad when you pull them off! eek I've been using Bliv off with those heads for a while and it seems to be working for me. It's not painful that's for sure. you should check up on the reviews. &_&

  5. Awww you all are babies- it doesn't really hurt all that much. No more than a band aid coming off. I have recently become obsessed with my pores and squeezing all the goodies that come out of them. While I prefer a blackhead/whitehead remover tool it ends up leaving me blotchy from breaking capillaries... so I'd have to say that these strips are the preferred method. make sure to get Biore and not the off brands as they others don't do a very good job and they leave sticky stuff on one's nose. I saw a pretty cool video of a woman using Elmer's glue and letting it dry and then peeling out some whiteheads.
